Commentary
What drama late on here in Italy as PSG win the UEFA Super Cup 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in normal time. For all the world it looked like Tottenham were going to clinch a memorable triumph as goals in each half from Van de Ven and Romero saw them deservedly lead 2-0. But PSG produced a fine late fightback through Lee and Ramos to force penalties. Things didn't start well for Luis Enrique's men as Vitinha placed wide from 12 yards, but Van de Ven was denied by Chevalier before Tel woefully shot wide. It all led to Mendes keeping his cool when it mattered most as Champions League victors PSG - whose xG of 1.17 was inferior to Spurs' 1.38 - add another trophy to their collection in the form of the UEFA Super Cup. Thank you for joining us this evening folks, until next time!
